We are so excited that you’re interested in writing for us!
Our goal is to give spirit-led creatives a platform for their work. If your ideas are consistent with our mission and our content, we would love for you to be a part of our editorial team.
Please read through this short guide to learn more about our pitch process.
As a contributor you’ll be listed on our About page, and you’ll have your own author page on our site. In addition to publishing your work on our site, we’ll include a link to your writing in our newsletter.
Paying contributors for their work is a part of our vision. But, we are not able to compensate our writers at this time.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Here’s a general outline of our categories:
Op-ed: Thoughtful, analytical pieces about living and working as a spirit-led creative
News & happenings: News, events, reviews, and important updates your fellow community members should know
Interviews: Q&A or article-style conversations with interesting people
Educational: Anything made to inform & inspire our community to do God and do art well
Artistic Expression: Art for art’s sake. It does not have to have a rhyme or reason, just something you have created and want to share.
What we’re not looking for:
Pieces of a purely promotional nature. Basically, please don’t write to us just to promote your own project or company. Of course, we’re happy to mention and/or link to your work in your author bio — but it shouldn’t be the focus of your work.
Third party pitches. PR companies are amazing and agents are wonderful people, but we are not a media outlet, we are a community. If you would like to write for us, we can’t wait to get a pitch from YOU.
LET'S GET STARTED!
Send your name, a little bit about yourself, and a brief outline of your article idea via email to email@example.com. We’ll get back to you soon.
(Huge thanks to The Bello Collective for helping us figure out what to say on this page. You guys are our podcast go to and virtual mentors.)
